Manor New Technology High School

Manor New Technology High School in Manor, Texas (near Austin) opened in 2007 with grades 9 and 10 and had its first graduating class in May, 2010. It is one of the 35 original Texas Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (T-STEM) Academies. The school recruited many of its faculty from the UTeach program at the University of Texas Austin. These and the other Manor New Tech teachers have excelled from the first year in implementing effective 21st Century project-based learning. Students at Manor New Tech have won numerous state and national video contests.
