New Tech Model>Exemplar New Tech 21st Century High Schools *>

Tech Valley High School (TVHS) in the Albany, NY, Capital Region opened in 2007 with grade 9 at the headquarters of MapInfo Corporation in the Rensselaer Technology Park. The school, with its focus on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math), was co-sponsored by the Capitol Region and Questar III BOCES. TVHS was also supported by the regional business community. TVHS is the East Coast Demonstration Site for the National Network of New Technology High Schools.
